Customer Review Summary
The Yamaha Pacifica 112V OVS RL is an excellent electric guitar, especially for its price point. The build quality is impressive, featuring a well-finished body and high-quality hardware. While the frets may require some minor adjustments, they do not protrude and the guitar plays smoothly.
The alder body resonates beautifully, providing a warm sound that is often hard to find in budget guitars. The HSS pickup configuration offers a versatile range of tones, making it suitable for various musical styles, which is particularly beneficial for beginners keen to experiment with different sounds.
The guitar comes with standard 0.09 gauge strings, which maintain their tone well, though those looking to use thicker strings will need to purchase additional springs. The tremolo system is fixed, allowing for pitch adjustments downwards but not upwards, which may be a consideration for some players.
Many users appreciate the attractive Old Violin finish, although a darker plastic finish would have been more desirable for some. Overall, the Yamaha Pacifica 112V OVS RL is highly recommended for both new players and those with some experience, offering a fantastic balance of quality, sound, and affordability.
