Customer Review Summary
Squier FSR Aff Strat H HT LRL BPG BLK is an impressive entry-level guitar that surprisingly exceeds expectations in terms of quality and playability. The fretwork is generally good, with no dead notes or sharp edges, and the neck profile is comfortable, making it easy to play. The rosewood fingerboard appears darker than depicted, which is a pleasant surprise for those who prefer a richer aesthetic.
While the stock pickups are adequate, they might not satisfy everyone, especially when considering the potential for upgrades. Many users recommend replacing the tuners for better tuning stability, and there are suggestions to modify the electronics to enhance sound quality further. The guitar is lightweight and features a flawless finish, making it visually appealing.
Overall, it serves as an excellent platform for modifications, providing a solid foundation for both beginners and those looking to customise their instrument. The sound quality is acceptable for practice and entry-level performances, particularly when paired with a good amplifier. For the price point, this model offers remarkable value and has garnered positive feedback as a reliable choice for both casual players and serious builders alike.
