Ibanez RG5320-CSW Prestige Review

Having recently played the Ibanez RG5320-CSW Prestige, I must say it has truly surpassed my expectations. The guitar arrived in impeccable condition, and the quality of construction is evident from the moment you pick it up. The mahogany body contributes to a solid and resonant sound, while the ebony fretboard feels incredibly smooth and fast under the fingers.

The Wizard neck profile is exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to navigate the fretboard, especially for those with smaller hands. The jumbo frets complement this design, allowing for effortless playing and quick transitions between notes. The overall playability is on par with some of the finest guitars I’ve ever held.

Sound-wise, the Dimarzio Fusion Edge pickups deliver a wide range of tones, from bright and clean single-coil sounds to heavy, saturated humbucker tones that are perfect for metal and rock. The coil-split feature adds versatility, enabling you to achieve a variety of sonic textures, making it suitable for different musical styles.

One of the standout features is the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo system, which maintains tuning stability even after extensive use. I’ve been using it heavily without any tuning issues, which is a dream for any player. However, a slight downside is the quality of the tremolo spring adjustment screws; they could be of higher quality, as they tend to strip easily.

In terms of aesthetics, the Cosmic Shadow finish is stunning, resembling a polished stone, while the mother-of-pearl inlays add a touch of elegance. Overall, this guitar not only looks fantastic but also performs exceptionally well in both studio and live settings.

For anyone contemplating investing in a high-end guitar, the Ibanez RG5320-CSW Prestige is undoubtedly a worthy choice. It’s a stunning instrument that offers an incredible playing experience, making it a lifelong companion for any serious guitarist.
