Customer Review Summary

The Ibanez GRG121PAR-KBF is an impressive mid-range guitar that has won me over despite my initial reservations about the brand. Its aesthetics are striking, particularly the elegant back, while the front could benefit from a higher resolution finish. The binding is a crisp white, which adds to its visual appeal.

In terms of construction, I have found no significant flaws, although the frets are slightly rough, which can be easily resolved with some sandpaper. The sound quality is robust, especially in high-gain settings, producing a strong and aggressive tone that surpasses the cheaper GIO models.

However, there are some drawbacks to consider. I encountered issues with fret height and noticeable sharp frets, along with some sound inconsistencies that could be frustrating. Additionally, I had to replace the potentiometer multiple times due to malfunction, and the finish is not as durable as one might hope. Despite these concerns, the pickups deliver a nice tone, and the guitar generally performs well for its price.
