Customer Review Summary
The ESP LTD KH 602 PSP is an absolute dream for any guitarist, especially for fans of Metallica. The first thing that strikes you is the stunning Purple Sparkle finish, which looks even more impressive in person than in photos, displaying a depth that shifts from near black to vibrant purple depending on the light.
The build quality is exceptional, with rolled fingerboard edges that enhance playability and a neck-through design that makes it easy to navigate the fretboard. This guitar feels solid in your hands and is well-balanced, so you won’t experience any neck dive.
Equipped with Kirk Hammett’s Bonebreaker EMGs, the sound is powerful and aggressive, perfect for high-gain metal riffs. These pickups deliver a distinctive tone that stands out, offering crisp highs and a fat bottom end. They perform beautifully, whether you’re shredding solos or playing clean passages.
The setup out of the box is impressive; the action is just right, and the Floyd Rose tremolo system maintains tuning stability even under heavy use. While some may find the painted neck a bit less desirable than a natural finish, it still provides a smooth playing experience. The overall feel of the guitar is fantastic, with a neck that supports fast playing and complex techniques effortlessly.
One noteworthy aspect is the included premium hard case, which is a great addition for protection and transport. However, some users have noted minor issues, such as slight aesthetic imperfections, but these do not detract from the overall performance and quality of the instrument.
In conclusion, the ESP LTD KH 602 PSP is a superb instrument that combines striking aesthetics with top-notch functionality. It’s perfect for anyone looking to explore their musical capabilities, whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quality and style in their gear.
