Customer Review Summary
Yamaha Pacifica 120H BK is an exceptional guitar that offers excellent value for money. As a beginner, I was looking for something versatile without a tremolo system, and this model perfectly fits the bill. With its two humbuckers and a coil-split function, it allows for a wide range of sounds, from rock to country, making it suitable for various genres.
The craftsmanship is impressive, showcasing Yamaha’s attention to detail. The neck feels smooth and comfortable, facilitating easy playability. The setup is commendable, and the overall quality of the instrument far exceeds what you’d expect in this price range. Even experienced players can appreciate its capabilities.
While the sound may not be mind-blowing due to the basic pickups, the guitar excels in the distortion range and produces clean tones effectively. The absence of a tremolo system is a plus for beginners, ensuring a straightforward playing experience.
I did notice that the sharp ends of the fret wires needed a bit of polishing, but this minor issue does not detract from the overall experience. For anyone looking to start their electric guitar journey, the Yamaha Pacifica 120H BK is undoubtedly an outstanding choice.
