Jackson JS32 Kelly Ferrari Red AH Review: 2026 Edition

Customer Review Summary

The Jackson JS32 Kelly in Ferrari Red is truly a stunning instrument, boasting a vibrant and unique colour that stands out beautifully. Its large size is well-packaged, ensuring protection during transit. Upon setup, it is often found to be perfectly adjusted right out of the box, making it accessible for amateur players looking for a solid entry-level guitar.

The playability of this guitar is fantastic, with a slim neck that provides comfort and agility for quick movements across the fretboard. The construction quality meets the high standards expected from Jackson, offering a reliable and solid feel.

Sound-wise, the guitar delivers a satisfying performance, particularly with its humbuckers that excel in both clean and distorted settings. While some may find the stock pickups a bit too powerful, leading to feedback issues at higher gain levels, many users have had success by swapping them for different models, resulting in a more tailored sound experience.

The licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system, while not without its criticisms regarding tuning stability, can perform well when set up correctly. It does require maintenance, including the use of an Allen key for string changes, which some players might find inconvenient.

Overall, this guitar offers excellent value for its price, especially for those interested in metal or similar genres. Its aesthetic appeal, combined with solid performance features, makes it a recommended choice for new and intermediate players alike.
