Additional Information

Customer Review Summary

The Harley Benton DC-Custom II White is an impressive instrument that offers excellent build quality and an attractive design. Right out of the box, it was perfectly in tune, with the action and intonation spot on. The hardware feels solid, and the overall fit and finish are commendable. Having owned several SGs, I can confidently say that this guitar holds its own against much pricier models, proving to be as good, if not better, than some higher-end alternatives.

The guitar features stainless steel frets that enhance playability, allowing for smooth transitions along the neck. Although there were minor issues, like slightly high frets and string action, these are easily adjustable and expected at this price point. The weight and balance of the guitar are comfortable, making it suitable for extended playing sessions.

In terms of sound, the DC-Custom II shines across various genres. It produces a rich and resonant tone, with powerful bass, crisp mids, and singing highs. Whether clean or distorted, the guitar handles a wide range of sounds effortlessly, and the coil-split feature adds versatility to your playing style. The tonal controls are effective, providing a broad range for shaping your sound.

Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this guitar. It not only looks stunning but also performs exceptionally well, making it a fantastic choice for both beginners and experienced players alike. The value for money is remarkable, and I believe it could easily become a favourite in any guitarist’s collection.
