Customer Review Summary
Fender AM Pro II Strat MN BLK is an exceptional instrument that truly embodies the essence of a classic Stratocaster. Holding this beautifully crafted guitar is a delight, with its superb balance and smooth satin-finished neck that allows for effortless playability.
The Roasted Maple Neck not only looks stunning but also enhances the overall tactile experience. The sound quality is outstanding across all five pickup positions, with the typical glassy tone of the single-coil pickups delivering an impressive performance. The addition of the push-pull feature on the bridge pickup opens up a new dimension of sound, making it a versatile choice for any player.
Despite a few minor setup adjustments needed for personal preferences, including the floating tremolo, the guitar maintains excellent tuning stability and sustain. The V-Mod pickups are versatile enough for both clean and driven tones, making them highly usable in various musical contexts.
The aesthetic appeal of this model surpasses expectations, looking even better in person than in photographs. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking a modern guitar that retains the classic Stratocaster sound and feel. While some may prefer the vintage approach of the American Vintage II, the AM Pro II offers a contemporary twist that is still deeply rooted in tradition.
Overall, the quality of craftsmanship is impressive, with a light weight that enhances playability. However, there have been suggestions for improved quality control at the manufacturing stage to ensure every instrument meets the highest standards. With a price point reflecting its premium nature, one can certainly expect nothing less than excellence.
In summary, the Fender AM Pro II Strat MN BLK is a superb guitar that delivers both in sound and aesthetics, making it a top choice for any serious musician.
