Customer Review Summary
The ESP LTD EC-1000 BP BLUNFD is an exceptionally beautiful guitar that offers a fantastic playing experience. The aesthetic appeal is striking, with a gorgeous burl top and a colour gradient that elevates its visual charm. Upon first play, the quality of the build is evident, with comfortable access to the upper frets and a neck profile that feels just right.
Sound-wise, the Seymour Duncan Pegasus and Sentient pickups provide a versatile range, allowing for everything from clean tones to hard-hitting heavy sounds. The coil-splitting feature offers additional tonal variety, although some users noted that the differences between the pickups could be less pronounced depending on the amplifier used. Overall, the guitar delivers a bright, balanced tone, with remarkable sustain that surpasses many others in its class.
While the playability is generally praised, there were a few concerns regarding quality control. Some users experienced minor issues, such as loose components and slight imperfections in the finish, which are surprising given the price point of over £1000. Nonetheless, these imperfections do not detract significantly from the overall enjoyment of the instrument.
In summary, the ESP LTD EC-1000 BP BLUNFD is a stunning guitar that excels in both aesthetics and playability. It offers a remarkable combination of sound versatility and comfortable play, making it a worthy addition for any serious guitarist. Despite some minor quality control issues, its overall performance and stunning looks make it a highly recommended choice.
